Mary Jo Bradshaw was ordained as a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on August 26, 2007 after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Cal State Long Beach (2003) and a Masters of Divinity from the Claremont School of Theology (2007.) She has a passion for peace and justice and for people on the margins of society and clings to the fundamentals of what it means to be a Christian: Love God, and love your neighbor … or, as it was put by the Prophet Micah, “God has showed you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”  Pastor Mary Jo lives in Long Beach with her husband, Charlie, and their dog, Jethro, and is currently working as a Youth Employment Specialist for the City of Los Angeles. She provides supply preaching ("Have Sermon Will Travel") for local area churches and is an active participant in her regional church, the Pacific Southwest Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
